Stratford University is dedicated to preparing students for challenging and rewarding careers in high demand fields, such as information technology, hospitality, culinary arts, and business administration. The University is located just outside of Washington, DC, in the Virginia.
Stratford University offers Associate, Bachelor, and Master's Degrees. Its curriculum combines advanced technology and hands-on labs with traditional educational methods. The competencies and industry certifications embraced by its demanding curriculum are employer-centric, while the teaching methods and delivery style are student-centric. Stratford University has excellent graduation and placement rates.
In addition to its demanding courses, Stratford offers many non-credit workshops and courses in business, technology, and culinary arts. The Chef's Table at Stratford University offers fine dining to the public.

Stratford University having two campuses located in historic Virginia near Washington DC with all its culture, history, and power. On a broader scale, Stratford University is between the Atlantic ocean and the Blue Ridge mountains with many nearby rivers. This is a perfect spot for our active students.
Located just south of Washington, DC on the USA's mid-Atlantic coast, Virginia is the perfect choice to experience the real America. Your arrival is easy through Washington Dulles International Airport in northern Virginia, which offers more than 230 weekly arrivals from 30 markets around the world. Our other local airport is Reagan National Airport, which offers hundreds of domestics flights weekly.
Virginia's temperate climate makes possible a full range of recreational activities year-round, including camping, horseback riding, fishing, bicycling and golfing. Millions of acres of national forests with massive 300-year old hemlocks and limestone rock formations provide a refuge for rare plants and animals. Hikers will enjoy Virginia's 500-plus miles of the Appalachian Trail, a green footpath stretching from Maine to Georgia.
Travel West or Northwest a couple of hours for hiking, skiing, white water rafting, canoeing, or camping. Travel East three hours to enjoy the Atlantic beaches and beach culture. A quick trip into Washington finds the lively Georgetown entertainment scene with many restaurants and night clubs. And the Washington museums are world-class and free. The subway and bus system can get you anywhere quickly and efficiently.
Alexandria, the historic seaport, is a local hangout with a lively restaurant scene. Many enjoy sailing in the Potomac River near Alexandria. Some drive an hour to Annapolis and sail in the Chesapeake Bay.
History comes alive in Virginia. You can tour premier historic American sites such as Colonial Williamsburg (three hours away), Monticello (two hours drive), Mount Vernon (local), and Jamestown (three hours drive), the New World's first permanent English settlement, founded in 1607. Virginia, home to eight American presidents, was the fateful site in America's battle for independence. Later, more major Civil War battles were fought in Virginia than any other state.
In the fall, brilliantly colored foliage blankets Virginia, especially the Skyline Drive (two hours away), which runs through the Shenandoah National Park, and the Blue Ridge Parkway, which offers more than 200 miles of driving pleasure. Virginia's fall foliage splendor rivals that found in New England. Both National and State Parks are nearby for those who like camping and being in the great outdoors.
The Tysons corner campus is 20 minutes West of the White House near Route 66. The Woodbridge campus is 45 minutes south of the White House near Route 95.
Stratford students enjoy many attractions in the area, both educational and athletic. Leisure activities are never in short supply.
